Terms of Service
The agreement for accessing the KonnectSymbols website, account features, builders, and symbol catalog.Effective 2026-08-091. Operator and acceptance
KonnectSymbols is operated by Kim Phung, Pennsylvania, United States. By creating an account or using account-only features, you agree to these Terms and the Catalog License. If you act for an organization, you represent that you can bind it. You must be at least 18 years old.
2. Public beta
The service is a free public beta. Features, limits, formats, and availability may change. Paid plans shown as coming soon cannot be purchased or activated. We may suspend a feature to protect users, data, or the service.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and notify us of unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may restrict accounts used unlawfully, abusively, or to bypass plan limits.
4. Catalog and permitted projects
KonnectSymbols owns or licenses the catalog artwork, software, branding, and documentation. Your right to use catalog exports is defined by the Catalog License. You may embed and adapt licensed exports in internal and client HMI, SCADA, control-system, and engineering project deliverables. You may not resell, publish, or redistribute them as standalone assets, templates, competing packs, training data, or a substitute library.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload or create. You grant us a limited license to host, process, render, back up, and transmit it solely to operate and secure the service. You represent that you have the necessary rights and that the content does not infringe, contain malware, or violate law.
6. Industrial-use warning
Symbols are design resources, not engineering approval, safety logic, operating instructions, or a substitute for current standards, project specifications, hazard analysis, regulatory requirements, or qualified professional judgment. Validate every asset in its final operational context.
7. Prohibited conduct
Do not probe or disrupt the service without written authorization, evade access controls, scrape protected assets, upload harmful code, impersonate others, infringe rights, or use the service for unlawful or safety-critical decision-making without independent validation.
8. Feedback
You may provide feedback voluntarily. We may use it without restriction or payment, but this does not transfer ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. KonnectSymbols is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Total liability for a free-beta claim will not exceed US $100, except where law does not permit that limitation.
10. Termination and changes
You may stop using the service and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, or legal necessity. Material Terms changes will be posted with a new effective date and, where practical, announced in-product before taking effect.
11. Governing law
Pennsylvania law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Pennsylvania will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
